We visit this cozy spot regularly for special occasions, always enjoying the familiar atmosphere and delicious meals. Tonight's calamari was a bit chewy, but the stuffed mushrooms remain a reliable choice that never disappoints. The service was pleasant, albeit the tavern could use a bit of sprucing up, both inside and out.

Last Sat night my husband and I took my daughter and her family to Piper Tavern. I made reservatons for 6. My husband and I always enjoyed it there and told my daughter how good it was, It was my husband's 60th birthday. To my surprise, I was very disappointed. We were seated on a round table in the middle of the room and were constantly being banged by people. My steak was served so red you couldn't eat it, I sent it back and it came back the same. Our waitress came with a dessert tray that all the slices of cake were flopped over and very unappetizing. I was highly disappointed since I bragged how good it was. I was thankful that it was only my dinner that was not good. The waitress was not very accomodating. I don't usually complain but I feel as though you should know. Thank you

The food is great, from the salads to dessert-but-PLEASE BRING BACK THE PECAN ENCRUSTED GROUPER!!!

LOVE THIS RESTAURANT-THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING-HAVE BEEN THERE SEVERAL TIMES AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED-UNTIL THEY TOOK MY FAVORITE OFF THE MENU-PECAN ENCRUSTED GROUPER WITH THAT EVERY SO GOOD SAUCE-WAS ALWAYS A SPECIAL TREAT AS IT WASN'T SERVED IN ANY OTHER RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO- I LOVE THE RESTAURANT AND THE ATMOSPHERE, BUT IT WAS THAT MEAL ON THAT REALLY MADE IT FOR ME-I HOPE IT RETURNS.

Very special place to eat-open kitchen, cozy bar, nice little porch and beautiful dinning room-only thing missing is the pecan encrusted grouper they took off the menu!!!
