A fountain outside would be nice...maybe fix a flower garden

I had my wedding at R & D on September 8 2012 and I cannot thank Beth & Ron enough they made our special day extra special they were very accommodating to all of our guests needs and the food was delicious. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful the wedding was and what a great time they had. Thanks again!

We recently had our wedding here and all our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The owner was very helpful throughout the whole process and made suggestions for flowers, dj's, and officiants. We hoped for a simple but elegant day and we given exactly that! She was accommodating to create a ceremony site last minute when our original site was flooded out. The decor of the room is beautiful. There were a variety of linen styles and colors to chose from. I made my own centerpieces and planned on decorating the tables the morning of the wedding, but she insisted that they take care of it. Most sites would charge you extra for this!
The menu was extensive and the chef was willing to make changes to suit our tastes. The price was similar to other venues but included much more!! The bartender created a signature red drink for the toast to match our color scheme. They even named it after me (Catherine's kiss) so guests could request it later in the night! The servers went above and beyond to make sure each guest was taken care of to make sure they had enough to eat and drink. They even brought the children in attendance Shirley Temples so they could participate in the toast. They also offered to bring an alternative meal out for them! No detail was too big or too small to be accommodated to make the event customized to what we wanted. Thank you for making our day so beautiful!!!!

I usually don't write reviews but I just couldn't help myself. I feel that maybe if the owner stumbles across this he might do something about it. It is actually a pretty nice place...inside. When my parents mentioned I have my wedding at R&D Memories I almost died! There was no way in hell I would have my close family and friends come to my reception at R&D Memories. But my parents insisted I take a look inside. I was very pleased when I walked inside, very nice and clean, and extremely happy and positive staff he has. I enjoyed my visit and was actually considering this to be the place. Until I walked back outside. The place looks like a dump outside. The parking lot is all covered in weeds and broken asphalt. A broken and rusted fence in the back...its just nasty looking. I wish the owner will read this and just take my constructive criticism. I bet there are a lot more brides out there that are thinking the same thing and have walked away from R&D Memories. Fix up the outside of your place and it would be a huge hit!!! Instead of just another BAD MEMORY.
