we went on a senior bus trip on 10/19/23 to a show and lunch LOVED everything from the entertainment to the food and the staff very clean friendly and the owner was very nice

I have been the photographer for many weddings at the Riverveiw inn. Knowing the family and owners of the venu they never put out a bad wedding nor did they ever put out bad food. Staff is always pleasant and hard working. However everyone or business is entitled to have one or two bad reviews. However this place would go far and beyond to make every client comfortable on their days . With this sweltering summer I could only imagine it is was however air conditioning system are going to break down . Get over it. As far as the cake if you got a sliver of cake is because the bride and groom did not order the cake from where ever they order it from did not order enough accordingly to the amount of people. As far as the cake was missed place I highly doubt the lost it. I know that place like the back of my hand. I assume info it was never delivered to the Riverveiw. Further more it is not like the owner Judy would ever do anything like that it’s not in her nature she is well respected loving caring empathetic person who cares for her friends family and clients

Though the location was very nice, the RV Park front and center takes away from the appeal. We were here for a wedding. The room for the cocktail hour was way to small for over 100 people with only a few tables and chairs. The dinner was just ok. Beef was tough, potato bar could of had more toppings, chicken dry. The AC was broken so it was very uncomfortable, many complaints about heat. The cost for facility was NOT adjusted for this issue. The icing on the cake so yo speak was the kitchen staff "misplacing" a tier of the wedding cake that had been in the walk in. Guest were given tiny slivers of cake while the kitchen staff enjoyed extra servings. No compensation for the cake issue either. Three phone calls with the owner passing blame on her staff.

Very disappointed in wedding experience. Broken air-condition system, poor quality food and the wedding cake they had stored in their cooler for our baker was misplaced . Guests were omlu given tiny pieces of cake when they could of had a nice slice. When questioned about any compensation for lost cake or broken AC told NO and hund up one. Repeated calls resulted in blame cast on other workers.

I was married in 1997 here at the Riverview and it was spectacular. The dinner and service was outstanding Judy and the girls did an amazing job making all of our guest feel right at-home. Thank you for all the wonderful years of memories.

They are simply the best around ... Great food, great view of the river, great people.. judy & charile is the best....
