I visited the restaurant and observed a hardworking woman managing all tasks efficiently, from waiting tables to cooking, despite being understaffed. The food quality was average and the service was slow due to the lack of staff members. Although the omelette lacked the expected home fries, the French toast was enjoyable. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a friendly staff and a history of being in a larger building, now located in the Presbyterian apartments, with some dishes like the fried haddock sandwich and open-faced turkey sandwich standing out for their taste and quality.

The State Cafe has traditional breakfast and lunch food. Quality is consistently good and prices are fair.

The State Cafe is to much for sandwich is ten dollars just ridiculous they're getting over on people really bad thumbs down
