Without a doubt our favorite restaurant in Berks County. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is beyond fabulous! All entrees are excellent

Since retiring my family and I frequent the Tavern on a regular basis, especially enjoying the fireplace in cooler months. The buffets are outstanding, homemade everything, and reservations always where we want to sit.
Never a problem. The nicest hostess and chef can help with any questions. If you are in the right place at the right time(climbing the steps to restrooms) you might encounter a ghost. No better desserts in town and the creamy dill home recipe can't be beat. My favorite dinner dish is the seafood-turf shish-ka-bob, fillet with scallops and shrimp.Yum.

Have not had such a great meal in a long time! Wonderful atmosphere coupled with great service and attention to detail made the experience of dining at the Stouch Tavern a real joy! Perfectly prepared entrees as well as the accompanying vegetables, salads and bread made the experience a real pleasure and we will be returning soon to try more of their offerings!

Don't trust your reservations. I had requested a table by the fireplace because that room was recommended as decorated beautifully with such ambiance. Ended up in a room with no decorations, no other diners, very cold, and certainly not what I requested. Our special evening would have been much better elsewhere. Will not be spending $160+ for 4 people there again.
