The restaurant that took over the previous owners' establishment left much to be desired, making me wonder where the original proprietors went. Despite the changes, I indulged in a satisfying meal of squid in black bean sauce with extra squid that was both generous and delectable, served in a cozy interior where you can catch glimpses of Communist TV while waiting for your food. The attentive staff and delicious dishes at Szechuan Hunan have made it my preferred spot for Chinese cuisine in Center City, offering fast service, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart from other eateries.
