We have eaten at this restaurant many times from the day it opened about 20 years ago (apologies for not posting a review until now). The food has been consistently excellent over the years and absolutely delicious: aromatic, flavorful, and authentic; never heavy or oily. The staff is super-friendly, pleasant, and helpful, they taught our kids the meaning of/reason for the pots hanging over the front door (bigger pot) and the back door (remember to ask when you visit). The environment is attractive and peaceful, with Thai paintings and memorabilia; the beautiful ethnic music is muted and conducive to conversation.
Our adult children still want to eat at Thai Place every time they are home to visit, and tell or text us about other Thai restaurants they have visited around the country that have not lived up to their expectations. This restaurant is out of Grubhub/DoorDash delivery range for us (living in Exton) and I would say their food is one of the things I missed most during the COVID-19 lockdown.
