Tony's in Wellsboro, PA gave me exactly the comforting Italian flavors I was craving, with perfectly crisp crusts and fresh homemade bread that reminded me of the pizzerias I grew up with in New Jersey. From the Stromboli to the personal pies and hearty subs, every bite was packed with flavor and served by friendly staff in a welcoming, clean setting. Whether stopping by after a day of outdoor adventures or during a busy evening, this place consistently delivers satisfying meals at reasonable prices.

Enjoyed a delicious meal at a charming Italian eatery in Wellsboro, PA. Satisfied my hunger with a couple of NY style slices adorned with pepperoni and sausage. The comforting flavors and perfect crunch of the crust at Tony's hit the spot. The traditional pizzeria atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable.

AWESOME

I have never written a negative review before, but the take-out order we got on 10/10/20 from Tony's was simply outrageously bad. First of all, we had been there the day before to look over their menu. The place smelled wonderful and there was a delicious pizza behind the counter, with zucchini and cheese. Looked yummy! The next night my husband ordered the manicotti special, which included a salad and bread. He asked for meatballs in addition to this. I ordered a small cheese pizza and a small salad. When we picked up the order and brought it across the street to our hotel room, there were no meatballs. The manicotti looked so unappealing; horrible, really. It was overcooked (crunchy), with barely any sauce on the bottom of the pan. There was no pizza cheese melted over the manicotti. Maybe we are spoilt, but we get three manicotti that are twice the size, with plenty of sauce and cheese melted over, for 8 dollars back home. My pizza...well, I have had better frozen pizza. This was below DiGornio. We don't know how people rated this place as high as they did.
