I would like to complain about the lousy service we experienced at the Wrightsville Inn the other day. We sat down at 645pm and ordered our dinner. Our waitress was awesome and professional, so we have no complaint about her. What I do want to complain about is the food service at the Wrightsville Inn.

The owner is a disgrace for her actions and lack of customer service. We got charged for AYCE Broasted Chicken and Fried Haddock with fries and slaw. They didn't have fries and then they didn't have slaw. then they didn't have fish. How can you charge people 11.99 when you don't have what you are selling them. Then to refuse to speak to me when I asked to speak to the owner, then she dodged in and out of the kitchen to avoid me.

We waited 60 minutes after ordering and then then they came out and were told there was no special, there was no more fish. So we sat for 60 minutes again waiting on a burger. Two hours for a lousy burger that should of taken only 10 minutes to deliver. Which we promptly put in a container to take home. The rest of our party had finished almost one hour before our food was finally delivered. It's a shame, because when one of the patrons asked to speak to the owner and the owner comes up with some lame excuse not to talk to us. Hate to put it this way, but she was an -ss hole, putting it bluntly.

Had she come over, apologized, offered a free drink, dessert, any thing, expedited replacement food, or a reduction in our bill, but nothing! Instead she is now the laughing stock of the town. The question of the night was what else don't they have. The delivery truck excuse is lame, and leaving the waitress to do a owners job is even lamer. The comment my table was gonna cause trouble was uncalled for, as was the fact they didn't honor the AYCE because they couldn't fess up they made a mistake. The owner needs to learn you never judge a book by it's cover. You have no clue who I had with me, and the damage the can leave behind. I refuse to even try and go there again, the owner is rude to the customers, cussing out her employees so patrons can hear her thru the kitchen doors. She would make a lousy truck driver or railroad conductor considering the foul mouth she has.

This is a shame, but necessary. Other tables commented throughout the night about the mix up in food and lousy service. This needs to be looked into. I do need to tell you if you try and eat there, do it with caution. And if the service is as lousy as it was the other night, jack up the owner and explain that if she doesn't immediately reduce the bill or allow substitutions, then walk out. Maybe if a few other patrons do this the owner will learn there is something to be said about customer service. I would recommend this place to the dogs, but not humans. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience the lousy service and food.

I love it there...the crab soup is excellent!!! lots of big lump meat and they add in asparagus which I love...and they've got several brioled haddock dishes that I and my friends just lvoe too...and their crabby french fries are delicious too!!!......I've introduced about 7 other people to the place....I'd eat there every week if I could --- I live up in the Lock Haven area - it's @3.5 hours drive so it's bit hard but I do go when I can!!! and yes sometimes the service is slow - but hey we all have our bad days....there's one waitress who practically speedily runs around serving her customers....and I think she needs to slow down...lol.....again I LOVE their food....
