I've been frequenting the River for over 20 years but never bothered checking out this joint. Didn't even cross my mind, always packed my coolers with grub and brews. Ended up giving it a shot last weekend for breakfast while camping by the lake. It was convenient since we were feeling too lazy to cook at the campsite, and the food wasn't too shabby. Not the best breakfast I've had, but it did the trick. Service was a bit slow, but the place was bustling and our waitress was running around. Maybe it was the time she spent whipping up our bloody marys that held things up. My bad! Anyway, don't anticipate a fancy Sunday brunch, more like a hearty truck stop brekkie. One suggestion though, should open the bar early on Saturdays. I'd definitely grab a bite there then.
