The J&J Lounge in 5th Ward has been around for decades, and I finally checked it out. The fried catfish, mac and cheese, and burgers are all fantastic, plus the vibe is super nostalgic, making it a fun spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

I went there for lunch on a Friday. The food was on point. Catfish and shrimp. Wonderful salad and best toast in town. The place is small but worth it. Service was great. White table cloths on the table. Very nice and clean. Good prices. Not very much parking, but find a space, its worth it.
