I've yet to step foot in their store, but I've indulged in their tres leches cake from local taquerias, and it's absolutely addicting. Recently, a gentleman swiftly prepared 15 fruit cups for an event in under 30 minutes, impressing me with both the quality of the cups and the stellar customer service. Nestled near the Rigsby exit off Loop 410 on the southeast side, Azucena's Cakes offers a variety of traditional Mexican treats beyond just cakes, all at incredibly affordable prices. Just a heads up, their operating hours can be a bit unpredictable, so it's best to give them a call before making the trip. Enjoy, but beware of potential weight gain - their desserts are irresistible!
