When family visited Disneyland, we grabbed several pork and chicken tamales that were moist and generously sized, along with flavorful beans and a delicious passion fruit agua fresca. The authentic Guatemalan dishes like plí¡tanos fritos, chuchitos, rellenitos, and chow mein offered great flavors and portions, all served with fast, friendly service in a cozy, cash-only mom-and-pop setting.

My family and I visited this hidden spot in Santa Ana for some authentic Guatemalan food. The pupusas were fresh and piping hot, filled just right with chicarron and queso, while the revuelto was perfectly greasy. They only serve pupusas on weekends, so plan accordingly if you're craving them!
