The restaurant deserves a solid four stars, as I wanted to balance out the negative reviews related to masks and expectations. The tacos were quite enjoyable, with the barbacoa being tender and juicy, though the al pastor needed salsas to enhance its flavor. The Chuleta Ahumada was a standout, crispy and flavorful, and the overall experience felt authentic, especially for someone with a picky palate for TexMex.

I got the tacos al pastor here, the food is very authentic. If you're expecting a westernized experience like an On the Border or a Taco Bell, forget it. This place is locals only, and it's bare bones. But what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in authenticity, taste, and value!
