Was there saturday.waitress handed us two menus.the one had french onion soup for 5 dollars.the other menu had it for 7 dollars.she said the menu hadn't been updated.we would have thought she would have charged us the 5 dollars but she didn't.wasnt impressed.

Stopped in last night for dinner. Seating was comfortable,waitress was courteous and helpful,ordering to dining time was good,food was good,especially broiled fish which was hot and tasty,and did not have to wait long for check and payment.Enjoyed our meal and looking to returning soon.

The worst experience I've had in years. We were assured they would prepare us a gluten free meal. However, that did not happen. My partner and I have been terribly ill from that meal for almost I week. We both have suffered excruciating abdominal pain and days of uncontrollable bowel movements. It is a -1 rating for us. I will never return to this so-called restaurant. Furthermore, the building itself is falling apart. I should be shut down now before anyone else suffers from them.

I walked in to use the restroom, and have a beer. The restroom was down a flight of un lite stairs. The music was not fit for a bar, and the bartender could care less.

I went here for dinner with friends. I ordered the stuffed sole. It was so delicious. I would definitely eat here again. My friends both had a huge salad and both loved them. 5 stars for their food.😊👍

Had dinner there and the food was great. Had elk and it was so tender and very well done. The view was awesome. Will definitely go back.

Dining area rustic, nice. Meals pricy for the isolated location. Great view on a mountain. Hotel part the worst we've ever seen. Don't stay here. Appears to not have been ever remodeled or maintained since 1950's. Paint peeling, very small room, NO HEAT, and it was December. Just a tiny ineffective space heater. There appear to be many negative reviews, even about the restaurant.

I was very shocked at the terrible meal we had@ this inn.. the carrots were hard and the bread was so rubbery , steak was barely cooked. The salad was the best thing we ordered. You could not pay me any amt of $ to go back. The view was very nice so maybe that's what keeps them in business.

I had to have surgery at Guthrie Clinic and was looking for a place to stay the night before. My husband & I made reservations based on the mostly great reviews we read. When we arrived we were thrilled; we're not a lover of chain motels. The woman who checked us in was lovely and when I mentioned my surgery, she gave us a room discount. We loved the room! We had a King bed with NINE pillows and it was so comfortable. We spent alot of time out on the balcony looking down at the Chemung River and listening to trains below. I went back for a follow up with my surgeon and took my mother to show her the Inn. She thought it was charming. If I go that way again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Great Place!!!
