I was very disappointed. I choose to go The Tavern because it was my birthday and they had given me the coupon. I have been a fan since moving here, but tonight, fell way short. Drinks were very very very slow in coming, my son in law ordered an Old Fashion that took her twice to get it close to being right also, his fish and chips were spongy yet the crust was not done. How does that happen? We had reservations for 5:30 and it seemed that the hostess(if that was what she was)didn't have a clue, my daughter had requested a Creme Brûlée when making the reservation and that was totally lost, no one noted that there was a birthday at the table let alone the dessert. It was noisey beyond noisey, they would not move us to another table because so a reservation which did not show up for at least another hour. However; CJ did his best, but seemed to be having issues, apologized all night long for the bartender, the slowness, not being able to hear us, he tryed. Rodney was excellent kept the food coming, cleaned the table, good sense of humor. Will I be back, NO. My Colorado burger was excellent.
