Every night around eight, I'd hear a La Cucaracha horn in the beach flats, but I never knew who it was until a month ago. And then today, guess what? A bakery and sweet bread shop ON MOTHER @#$#@$ ING WHEELS parked right outside my house! They've got the best flan with a creme brulee topping that's soft, creamy, and super cheap, along with the usual sweet bread like conchas, orejas, and even different types of "American" doughnuts and churros. These guys come all the way from Salinas, and I'm just thrilled to have such delicious pan dulce right at my doorstep!
