Wow.. No Rob... Why bother with 29 at all...

This place has always been mediocre. Food was good but ridiculously overpriced for what you get. But now the fun has gone from the place. The only light in the place was Rob. He's been bartending there for nearly two decades and now Debbie in all her wisdom has let him go. Good luck getting people to pay outrageous prices without his personality and talent behind the drinks. Then there's the decor or lack there of. The look was dated when it was first implemented but now it's just tired and worn.
In summary, don't bother going in. There are so many other restaurants in Back Bay that are value for dollar and much better food and atmosphere.
