What a pleasurable experience. Wife and I decided to try Breakwater last night for our anniversary, the only thing I can say is that we underestimated them! The only thing that out did the unbelievably friendly managers and hostess to the perfect service given to us by our waiter was the food! The Breakwater Burger is a must have as well as the Blackened Mahi. Presentation was phenomenal, the flavors lended themselves to our palate like nothing we have ever experienced before. The wine list is spectacular, even though we had not heard of a lot of them, our waiter was more than knowledgeable in the area and steered us in the right direction, don't be afraid to ask! The prices of the food and wine were such a great value and extremely competitive to all of the other restaurants in Beaufort. The chic and big city feel of this restaurant is just what Beaufort needed. This has become our new favorite place and we look forward to every dining experience we will have there in the future. For all the foodies out there, THIS PLACE IS A MUST!!!!!

A supposed long established restaurant that had recently moved locations, we decided to finally try it. Worst dining mistake we’ve made in the last two years. The service was ridiculously slow and inattentive, the food overpriced and mediocre (at best), and worst of all, when I left a tip comparable to our experience, the restaurant manager had the unmitigated gall to follow us out to the parking lot and hurl insults at us. Wow, dinner AND a show!
