I've had 3 experiences at this restaurant. The first was when they reopened. The service and food were good. The second time was for lunch. They weren't busy, but it took 30 mins for the kitchen to cook my food, and from all the cursing and yelling coming from the kitchen I dont think they felt like cooking that day. When i did get my steak I asked for med. well and it was rare, when i sent it back it came back cripsy on the oustide, dry on the inside...how hard is it to cook a steak? Ok, so i thought I'd give them a try for dinner and maybe it would be better. Unfortunately not. It took forever to get bread. When it finally came it was burned, can't cook bread either??? I was seated near the bar and could once again hear complaining about having to cook coming from the kitchen, I think the cooks were more interested in coming to the bar for beers than cooking food. Once again i ordered a steak med. well and it was still bleeding when i cut into it. It would be nice to have a restaurant here in Camden where the food was cooked properly and you didn't feel like you just ruined someones' day because they had to prepare your food, but the Crescent Grill just doesn"t make the cut. Nice ambience, great service....terrible food!

Great Food! Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, a great steak... what else can you say? ... I would recommend to anyone!

The whole lobster was great but the white wine was warm, service was poor, no bread with dinner, had to ask for some bread with seafood pasta dish. Had a resevation but still waited.
