I've been a regular at El Matador since the 70's and it has never disappointed me. When I was planning our annual birthday dinner there last week, I checked out the reviews and menu to make a quick decision on what to order, as the place gets quite busy. Despite some negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food and service were just as excellent as I remembered.

By far, the best Mexican restaurant! Best hot salsa, cheese dip, burrito sauce ever! Also, the owner, David, is the best; almost every person that walks into the restaurant, he can call by name, and he has a wonderful personality! Everyone loves him! El Matador is our favorite restaurant, period!
