We went to Grady’s Café in March of 2008 on our way back to North Carolina from Georgia. We went on the internet to find possible places to eat and found this place to be rated above average. After eating there I can tell you that the reviews were either written by employees or the locals who have no other place to go eat at.
The food at this place is very average. It seemed like they bought a bunch of food at Sam’s added salt, pepper cooked and served them.
Service was on time but, the waitress or the hostess never checked on us while frequently checked on the folks sitting next to us. I am thinking they were locals.
Value for the food was decent but, I am thinking they could not have charged for the quality of food we got.
If you want atmosphere, this is definitely not the place to go to. I will leave this at that.
Next time if I stop at this exit, I will go to a fast food place.
