It's been several years since I visited this restaurant last. Don't know if it's still in operation, but I'll be finding out soon as I will be visiting friends in Swansea. If your taste buds call for home-cooking... I found for either breakfast or lunch the staff at Hilltop were ready to meet your needs. The food was always prepared to order and was very good. My tastes call for basic requirements... I'm into "comfort foods". Without doubt I can truly state that this restaurant has never failed to meet my satisfaction. Good food, great people... the sweet tea there was ALWAYS one of my favorites... this was one of those places they were NOT afraid to actually put tea in the mix... too often now days, too many places seem afraid to do that and you end up with colored "sugar-water". The tea was NOT made by one of the more popular drip methods but brewed and properly "steeped". The food was always well cooked and served hot and tasty... just like I like it. I HOPE it is still open and in operation... will be great seeing if any who were there my last visit are still there.
