Had a satisfying meal at a local restaurant with delicious home-cooked food and accommodating service. The cozy atmosphere and variety of menu options made for an enjoyable dining experience, definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

The food is not as good as it use to be. There must be new cooks. The dressing definitely did not taste like the dressing I always eat on Thursday or order for the holiday. The baked rice is no more than rice with gravy. You can clearly tell there are missing ingredients from their original recipe. The broccoli was broccoli "mush". I can never talk to a person to place an order. The voicemail box is filled and the recordings are usually 2 days old. Please do better by your customers. As for their wait staff, they are always "cool" and aloof" ( not friendly, but then neither is the owner).

The food was ok but not enough seasoning. I will eat there again however...Teh staff wasn't that friendly but then again, I went during a very busy hour. I am going to give them another chance.

There is a saying around here. Once you eat at Jewel's you'll always eat at Jewel's. If you want superb home style cooking, then this is where you need to go. My husband introduced me to Jewel's around 5 years ago, and I have been faithful to them since. They are amazing. It is absolutely the best home style food I have ever eaten.
