I love Lou and Perry's. Do some of these people think they are going to an uppity restaurant????? The food is good, and yes....sometimes you have to wait...but Jeez people, some of you act like it's a elegant restaurant.... It is the place us normal fixed income get to go. So get off your high horse!!!!!
I have been going to Lou and Perry's since I was a child. I loved it then and I love it now. So if it is not Superb enough for you.....go some where else. I am sure thestaff won't miss your prima Donna passes!!!!!

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. I had their sportsman's special with sausage. My wife ordered biscuits and gravy with bacon and cheese grits. The food was par at best, and we waited over thirty minutes to be served after ordering. To top all that off there was a hair in the gravy and were not offered a refill for our tea. A quick calculation based on cup size brings that to about 8 dollars per gallon. Then being out first time there we did not know they don't accept VISA, but they do have a handy atm charging an additional $2.50 per transaction. Would otherwise be a great family restaurant if the food was actually good and worth the wait. We will not be returning. BTW the older man it the kitchen wasn't wearing anything to contain hair. Hence the hair in the gravy. Didn't take note of the DHEC letter, but I wouldn't even give them a B.

I have been at Lou and Perry's for years. While the prices and food are excellent; I wish they would do away with smoking in the building. Everyone is right when they say you get a mouth full of smoke in every bite. Every has the write to eat and breathe.

Known to locals as the Smoke and Choke! Food ok but you get a mouthful or cig smoke with every bite!

Couldn't even stay to eat...way too much smoke. Everybody in town was in there smoking.

The fries are hard even when you tell them fresh out of the grease and they have cut back on portions but not prices and it takes forever to get a refill some people have to get their own

Been there twice. Food and prices are ok. The service was really slow both times. Had to ask for refills.
