I had a delicious Southern country meal for Sunday supper while passing through Virginia. The Manning Restaurant is a longstanding local favorite with its affordable home style dishes. The buffet offers a variety of tasty options including fried chicken and South Carolina style barbecue chicken, making it a great value at only eight dollars for buffet, drink, and dessert.

THERE IS NO RESTAURANT THAT IS MORE ACCOMMODATING
THAN THE MANNING RESTAURANT. THE OWNER IS A TRUE LADY
THAT YOU RARELY SEE IN TODAY'S SOCIETY. THE FOOD EXCELS
ON ALL LEVELS AND SHE DOES AS WELL.
A SUPERB PLACE. WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE HER AND HER
RESTAURANT.
