Today, we ventured out to Batesburg to pick up some fresh seafood from South Carolina Crawfish Company LLC. The shrimp we got looked absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, our original lunch plans were derailed by Shealy's annual summer vacation, but we ended up at Mi Rancho for some delicious Mexican cuisine. The Fiesta Camerones and chicken enchiladas Verde were both outstanding, and the service was prompt and friendly.

Ever been banned from a place for complaining about service? Well, that's what happened to me tonight here. Me and my friend came in because she is moving to Florida and what better place to take her than to my favorite Mexican restaurant. We had ordered our drinks and food and we're sitting and waiting for our food. A couple comes and sits down behind us and it takes them about ten minutes before they order. Their food came before ours and they were talking about how hot their plates were. The our food came out and our server actually let us grab our plates. That has never happened to me there. Plates have always been way too hot. My friend ordered a Burrito with beef and I ordered a shrimp taco salad (always was my favorite there.) She cuts into her burrito and takes a bite and says it's cold. I took a bite and it was. So I tell her maybe the middle isn't so bad. It is ice cold as well. The cheese on my taco salad was in two giant clumps and it was filled half was with refried beans. I only took two bits and couldn't do anymore. We tell our server and then go up front to take care of the issue with the manager. He tells me he can only take off the burrito even though I told him my salad wa terrible also. So I give up and decide I'll call and ask for the owners number when I get home. When I call I find out this manager is supposedly the owner. I told him that was the worse service I have ever had and he tells me, "You need to decide wether the service or food was bad." So I argue with him on the phone for about ten minutes and he finally says, "Lets make a deal, you come get your money and I never want to see your face again." I agreed because I was already planning on never returning. I am very angry with how this "owner" handled this situation.
