Tonight, while in Columbia, SC for a concert, we enjoyed some incredible local seafood, starting with a flavorful New England clam chowder and a dozen fresh raw oysters from James River, which brought back fond memories. The scallops and grits with bacon and sausage were rich and comforting, perfectly paired with a glass of white Zinfandel, and the attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable by shucking oysters right at the bar with friendly conversation. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, even late on a Saturday night, made for a memorable meal that I would gladly return to whenever in town.

Tonight, we decided to try out the local cuisine at the Oyster Bar in Columbia, SC after attending a concert. The atmosphere was lively, with happy faces enjoying oysters in every direction, and Jim's shucking skills were truly impressive. The scallops and grits with Bacon and sausage were a delicious highlight, and the service we received at 10 PM on a Saturday night was exceptional, making it a memorable dining experience worth revisiting.
