We were heading back from a day of hiking and feeling pretty famished. Pickens was conveniently on our route, so we decided to stop for some Mexican food, craving those satisfying chips and salsa. Stepping inside, I noticed they offered horchata, a creamy cinnamon rice drink I'd never tried before but instantly fell in love with. Their vegetarian options were plentiful, and I went for an enchilada and chalupa combo, both made with fresh, gluten-free corn wraps. My hubby always opts for the polo asado, and he was delighted with the generous grilled onions and perfect seasoning. The service was warm and attentive, and the cozy, well-kept atmosphere added to the overall pleasant experience. Overall, this unexpected find exceeded my expectations and might just become a post-hike tradition for us!

They are very prompt when you order your food. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile. The food is the best I have ever ate.
