I’ve never had a bad meal at this location. Reasonable, friendly and try their best to please you.
You can go downtown and pay $35 for a plate of food that’s not any better.

S & S Cafeterias has been a Charleston tradition since the 1950’s when they were first located on St Philip Street in downtown. The location west of the Ashley joined as their 2nd location in 1978. The food is absolutely delicious!

Horrible! Looked and smelled like a nursing home ! Place was filthy and outdated and all of the food was stale, cold and hard. Stay away !

Most of the time I come in the food is great,but today I got the chicken ans square pasty things and it was really bad. The chicken and rice tasted good but the dumplings were terrible.
Just saying.
Thank you for still being there serving your customers in these trying times.
Fix the Dumplings, best part of the meal!!

This is the worse I have ever had at S&S.The broccoli was overcooked, the sweet potato ball was only a marshmallow with perhaps 1 teaspoon of sweet potato on it and the so called apple dumplings were terrible. You ought to be embarrassed to sell them. I will not be spending my money there again and I have been going there ever since they opened. Shame Shame Shame
