The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the braised oxtail I tried was tender and full of flavor, accompanied by smoky bacon rice and heavenly biscuits that I couldn't get enough of. The owner, Ms. Angie, runs the entire operation herself-from cooking to serving to cashiering-and her warmth and attention to detail truly make the experience feel like eating at a family member's kitchen. Every dish, from the meatloaf to the collard greens, tasted like authentic Southern soul food made with love, and it left me already planning my next visit.
