The ice cream selection includes a variety of flavors, with Hershey's dipped being a standout that is hard to find elsewhere. Prices are very reasonable, as demonstrated by a recent order that included a large sundae and a kids sundae for just $8. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring a 50's diner theme and a patio that overlooks the river, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy a treat.

Well to start. Our soccer team had an amazing practice. We all ended up at the old town dairy. With all the old photos on the walls of families enjoying the dairy over the year you'd think this would be a very acceptable place to find good food and great people! That is abs it the case. Our team was ordering ice cream at 6:50 and we all sat in the back. While we were receiving our orders the waitress Andy came and blocked off the back section with a rope. 6 kids two adults and two other full tables. When a table of older people got up I helped move the rope for them to Leave out of the exit door! The waitress Andy came back from the kitchen stomping with rage scaring the back is closed got in my face in front of all those children and said again don't touch the rope! I kindly asked her to speak to the manager and she literally disappeared. I went up front to ask for the owners phone number and Robin an assistant manager said she would not give me the phone number to the owner (Luanne Ireland)I was requesting. She then listened to what I had to say and did absolutely nothing. She then said again that the back closes at 7pm. I responded with why would you close off the back with a rope if people are still enjoying the ice cream we paid for! FIRE HAZARD MUCH! The younger girl who wouldn't give her name eyeballed my family up and stood at the window smelling as we derive off with zero explanation to why the waitress was so rude and unprofessional. The employees stand right outside the doors and smoke cigarettes! In this day of age it's a max that people still feel the need to be absolutely insane over someone helping an elderly table get to the door! The table I was in was the soccer team and the parents were not even able to cross the rope to sit with their own children! I will be contacting whoever I can and reporting this also to the bbb. I've had problems here in the past but none bad enough to drive me away from wanting to return. This will definitely be last visit! Blue cow has better food better employment opportunities happier employees and a good food menu. This place is literally diner food sold by people that have no care for the people they serve!

The menu and food provide a great and delicious experience along with so many choices of ice cream flavors, shakes and flurries and more. The prices and service are great!
