Filippis in Pacific Beach has undergone a remarkable transformation under new ownership, introducing exciting menu items like prime rib and BBQ while enhancing classic Italian favorites such as pizza, meatballs, and ravioli. The prime rib is exceptionally tender and generously portioned, complemented by flavorful sides like minestrone soup, antipasto salad, and addictive garlic bread, all served with attentive and friendly service. Having been a longtime fan from childhood, it's clear that the recent improvements have revitalized this iconic restaurant, making it a standout choice for both dine-in and carryout experiences.
