Great food!

We’ve eaten here many times over the past 10+ years.. we’ve needed a table to seat anywhere between just the 2 of us, up to 8-10 people, when our extended family is in town. But Jebby’s is very small, w a limited # of tables (which are very close together), & regardless of how many are in your party, 98% of the time u’ll be kept waiting.. Waiting on a table(s), waiting for drinks, waiting to order, waiting on food, waiting for refills.. u’ll spend a lot of time waiting, so don’t eat here if ur in a hurry! The menu is mostly heavy, greasy, deep fried, breaded, previously frozen items. Actually, the best entree they’ve EVER had were these Bison Sliders w Bacon, cheese & Tomato Aioli! The Sliders were a “Special”, only offered 1 day/ week, so we went to Jebby’s almost weekly.. but you had to get there early, cause they would consistently sell out. I’m not even a “burger person” but they were absolutely fantastic! However, instead of making them a permanent menu item, Jebby’s stopped serving them altogether, as to “make room for Veggie Burgers”. Just another big “miss” for them IMO, & we’ve only been back there once or twice in the past few years, as I can never find anything on the menu that is worth the calories. The last time we went there was to watch a Bowl Game, but they closed at like 9pm, before the end of the game & then we were stuck trying to find somewhere else to watch the last 10 minutes of the game! It was a huge bummer & kinda the icing on the cake for us, we haven’t been back since.

Real southern cooking. Once it's gone, IT'S gone and what a shame that will be.

We moved to Hampstead in October and have eaten here 4 times. Every time we’ve come the service has been great and the food amazing. This is turning into one of our favorite spots but you have to get there early because by 6:00 it’s starts to fill up.

My friends and I went to lunch here, and we were so happy to find this place! All of our meals were perfectly cooked, the onion rings were fresh, the beer was cold, and the cole slaw was great. I can’t wait till I can go again.

Drove 30 minutes to try Jebby's 17 from good word of mouth. Had to wait at the bar for a table, which was not a problem at first. Place had a small and cramped and crowded feel and was very noisy. Very bar-like and non-restaurant like atmosphere. Most of the food appeared to be fried and starch heavy bar chow type fare but I didn't taste any because what happened next was astounding. After waiting patiently for over 30 minutes the waitress who took our name on the wait list came and notified us that a table was available. On the way to our table a couple walked in straight out of the gravel parking lot and another waitress seated them at our table immediately right in front of us as we made our way toward our seats. This after the (apparent) owner denied us a seat in an empty 4 stool high top. Poor service and outright insulting behavior. McDonald's down the street would have been a better choice in terms of dining grace and etiquette. Avoid unless you enjoy noise and standing in a sleazy bar atmosphere just to get the high hat from the rude staff.
