I enjoy visiting The Lorenz Cafe, a welcoming neighborhood bar now run by two dedicated sisters. The establishment offers fantastic drink and meal specials, making it a favorite spot in the community.

Under new ownership for over two years now, the Lorenz Cafe features home-cooked, made from
scratch weekly specials, soups and chili along with an expanded daily menu featuring breakfast, lunch, dinner, and favorite bar food staples at prices that won't bust your bank account. Awesome selection of beer on tap featuring daily draft specials. Happy hour and daily food specials round out the lineup of this hidden gem in the Elliot neighborhood of Pittsburgh's West End. Open daily from 9 AM to 2 AM. Definitely a must try!

The Lorenz Cafe has come a long way with new owners within the past year. It still has most of the same friendly staff that they used to, but it has been nicely redecorated and now they have a tasty menu selection of regular bar type food like appetizers and wings and a few sandwiches. Their prices are much better than any other bar around Pittsburgh and the regular crowd is always fun to be around. It is just down the street for the West End Overlook, I recommend that you check them out while passing through.

Used to stop by for happy hour a few times a week. My wife and I stopped going in several years back because the neighborhood changed and caused some younger clientel to come in, plus we didn't see eye to eye with the owner at the time. New owners took over the business last year, and at the advice of one of my neighbors we went back in to check it out. It's cleaner than it ever was before, and they have made some great changes to the atmosphere and food selection at the place. The food is amazing and low priced plus they run some great specials. We love the "new" Lorenz Cafe and we are happy to be back home at our neighborhood bar.
