Moondogs is a down-to-earth blues club with a simple layout-one side for the stage and tables, and the other a bar-offering great live music with talented bands and a lively atmosphere. The drinks are affordable, the acoustics are impressive, and the crowd genuinely comes together to enjoy the night, making it well worth the visit despite the limited beer options and cozy space. I loved the authentic vibe, the hardworking bartenders, and the chance to experience a true Pittsburgh blues institution that keeps the music front and center.

Moondogs is a cozy spot that stays true to its roots, with a stage on one side and a bar on the other. While I wish they had more beer options on tap, the simplicity of the place adds to its charm. The live music, especially the blues bands, creates a fantastic atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with good company.
