I've been a regular at The Gathering Place for many years, and it could use some updates like new carpeting, chairs, and better heating in the restroom. Despite being around since 1936, the recent change in ownership hasn't made much difference - it's still a dive with tons of character, serving fantastic Detroit-style pizza and friendly service from attentive staff.
