I always dread going to our local Dairy Queen (but my wife craves it at times...so there I find myself). Nothing is more unwelcoming than pulling up to the drive-thru speaker and hearing somebody on the other end that clearly doesn't want to be there and certainly doesn't give a single crap about you being there either. Nobody has any pride in their work anymore. The Ice Cream, by inherent quality on its own, is Dairy Queen's best asset. The rest of the food....at least from this location....might as well not even exist. Meal baskets are typically thrown together sloppily with a few soggy fries and the burger/sandwich quality is typically pretty terrible or incorrectly made as well - which is vastly disappointing considering DQ USED to shine in quality over McD's and BK. We've been to several other locations in the area - Huron, Chamberlain and Madison and any of the three seem to be undeniably better in both the service and quality aspects over what you'll receive and experience in Mitchell. It's really saddening. It's crazy to think that fast food workers demand so much more money an hour to perform and provide much less service and quality than what we did 10, 15, 20 years ago in fast food for far less money.

Wasn't happy with the service I received in the drive thru the girl who served me didn't know how to smile & had a poor attitude,I should get my money back & it took a half hour to get my ice cream unacceptable.
