Fresh cut meat, tomatoes, lettuce, a sandwich like mom would make and you cannot beat the price for the quality and serving size!!! Favorite stop!!

I have been going to Duchess for about 8 years. It is small, limited menu, cash only and limited hours. The owner is the only one working. She is meticulous with being clean, working fast and efficiently. The sandwiches are stuffed with freshly sliced lunch meat, neatly wrapped and handed to you in a plain brown bag. No frills. The milkshakes are large, made with the ice cream and milk. The prices are Amazing for what you receive! A milkshake is $3.75. Turkey, roast beef, salami and ham sandwiches (with or without cheese) are $3.50. Lettuce, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, wheat or white bread, Swiss or American cheese. Bologna, liver worst or cheese sandwiches are $2.75 and they are also stuffed. Well worth the trip and wait in line if you want a good, filling Sandwich with little frills. No fru-fru service here.

Best place around for hand-made shakes! Choose your own flavors from a selection of several ice creams. The sandwiches are also the best--lots of meat, made to order.
