The country club changed hands and got a new name back in March 2018, with a rich history that includes being a hotspot for the New York and Chicago Mafia in the late 1920s and 1930s. The golf course, designed by renowned architect Donald Ross in 1927, is surrounded by 200-year-old oaks and pine trees, and features challenging water hazards on several holes. The staff, like Connor in the pro shop and server Aleigha in the restaurant, are super friendly and accommodating, making for a great experience overall.
