While waiting for my take-out ribs near the bulletproof turntable, I struck up a conversation with the staff about the art of rib and sauce combinations, which turned out to be quite enlightening. The ribs were incredible, but I found the sides left much to be desired.

HEY GUYS , I GREW UP ON THIS PRODUCT, IT WAS A WAY OF LIFE, THE FRIES, COLD SLAW WAS THE LAW,, HA, HA, HA, GIVE ME THOSE RIBS, AFTER DATE NIGHT, THERE WAS THAT WHITE BOX SITTING ON THE STOVE, BONES JUST CAME -UP MISSING. HAT,S OFF TO THE SAUCE, I HAVE EATEN SO MUCH OF THAT PAPER THAT LINED THE BOX , IT WAS 12 OF US . HA, HA, HA, THE MERKERSON FAMILY 2547 CONCORD . THANKS SO MUCH ,,,LOVE.

some off the best ribs and chicken in the detroit area. back in the early 80's weren't many of us white people that knew about this place
