Amazing food. Restaurant is old and dingy surprised it's not fallen in cause its that bad but ...food is amazing and the staff are good at their jobs. Some day they may be able to get a better location or a new building.

We ordered a combination burrito. First of all, they didn’t even know what it was. When I explained it was meat, beans, rice and cheese. She said you want all that inside the burrito. I said yes please. We got them home and started to eat them. The absolute worse burrito I’ve ever had in my life. A tortilla with a huge amount of cheese, a couple tablespoons of rice and even less beans. We found no meat in the entire burrito. It was like sitting down and eating a giant block of cheese. We threw them out and said Taco Bell does better. The skinniest burrito I’ve ever seen as well. Yuk.

I had better. It was eatable but bland. I prefer a bit more spice in my Mexican meals. But this place probably caters to a more milder palate. The salsa was good though. I ordered the chicken fiesta but had to put salsa oit for taste. My husband order the EL Sazon plate. He also found it bland but still eatable. For dessert I ordered a friend ice cream. I don't normally have dessert but this once I wanted to try something new. At first it was tasty but then it got on my stomach ( meaning it was too heavy and sweet).

The attitude of the waitress was off. Maybe she was tired as she was not smiling or friendly.

Couldn,t order online. No menu online. When I called to ask what was on the menu they were rude and actually hung up on me.

Let me assure folks this place is very good. Just like bar-b-que, there are a lot of different styles of Mexican food. The comment made by Bonnito might lead you to think this place is horrible. I think he should have said "I prefer traditional Mexican food". Never the less if you measure this place against other Mexican restaurants in the area you won't be disappointed. .................sorry for your lack of understanding Bonnito.

Having been born and raised on the Mexican border in Arizona, I have to say that the El Sazon is without a doubt ,the worst Mexican food that I have ever eaten. One time there was all it took me and my family. We are still laughing at the El Sazon customers who think the food is good.

Very good food, our family has been eating at the Jefferson City restaurant for many years.
Try to visit regularly.
Best in town for us!

I loved El Sazon with a passion. I didn't even like mexican food until i started going there. Sadly, one day, when i was taking my mother out to eat, i found two NASTY TOENAILS in my food. This was purposefully done by a waitress that has yet to get fired. So be very careful eating there (if you choose to after this) ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD WHEN EATING AT EL SAZON.
