The ribeye here is simply seasoned, pit-cooked to perfection, and fork tender, accompanied by old-fashioned sides like white beans, green beans, and corn casserole that truly steal the show. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with attentive service and homemade desserts that are absolutely worth saving room for-just remember to bring cash due to a small card fee.

We ate there on Thursday night (best night to go because they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday). I have to admit my GPS was invaluable in finding it, but it was well worth it. Good service, the veggies and breads were outstanding! two had BBQ, two in our party had hamburger steaks and raved about them.. one of us had alligator, one had steak which was lovely and well prepared, another had a sandwich, all dishes were good, some excellent.

Veggies were great but the great steaks weren't so great...Service was a bit slow but we were a group of 34...Still, one and one quarter hours waiting on your meal was a bit much..

Have been here twice and the food gets BETTER each time! Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Well worth the effort to get here. We will be back !!!!
