I don't know how the state inspectors allow this place to stay open. It is one of the dirtiest restaurants I've ever been in, especially on the booth side.

I have taken my grandchildren several times & we're going back tonight. I love their variety when I want fried chicken and lots of veggies.

Ok...people from my neck of the woods. Momma and I went out to eat. I asked where she wanted to go..she said HIGGS. I hate that place, but went for her. So we sat down, enjoying each others company, sipping on ice tea, and eating Catfish. I looked over her shoulder and saw a flipping cockroach crawling on her seat! So yea made a fuss, waved to the waitress and showed it to her! I said to her we are out of here, and so flipped done! She walks away talkes to her boss, and yells across the room just go!...Really? So FYI dont go to HIGGS, in Milan...unless you like roaches...nasty! Momma got sick to her stomach thinking about it..not a away to run a restaurant people! YUCK!

I took my grandchildren for lunch this weekend and noticed many of the employees inappropriately touching each other. I also overheard an employee (malinda) in the front of the restaurant saying she had a boyfriend and a husband. This will be my last time going

This is a great place to eat with lots to choose from. All our experiences here have been good.

Quite possibly the worst experience ever!! Very little food to choose from, not even any lettuce for salad and what they did have was hardly edible.
Horrible!!!!!

Higs in Milan is great! The best catfish I've ever eaten, crisp cornmeal coating, filets are just the right thickness and there's plenty of it. Huge salad bar and homemade chocolate pudding with baked meringue on top to die for. I have been out of state for the last 2 years and was anxious to get back to Higs. It's the same great buffet for a good price that I was used to for the previous 10 years. Don't believe the negative comments. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. I was just there August 10, 2012.

Higs is a wonderful "all you can eat" buffet. They have great fried catfish as well as other main entrees and lots of veggies and a well stocked salad bar. Their chocolate pie tastes like chocolate pie your mother use to make. It is warm and is even better with some ice cream on the side. Higs is a favorite place to go for our senior group from church. I definitely give Higs a 5 Star rating.
