On a chilly, rainy day, savoring the Cornish hens alongside crisp onion rings felt like a warm embrace from homemade comfort. The historic building's charm, combined with the sweet hospitality of the family-run team, elevated every bite, from fresh salads and spicy burgers to the gigantic, mouthwatering oatmeal raisin cookie. Every dish spoke of care and local flavors, making it impossible to resist planning a return visit soon.

A luncheon in Sweetwater of the Hunter Cafe's house daily specialty and a bowl of the wonderful potato soup, a carry-out of an assortment of delicious bakery items was a delight for the two of us. It was a memorable experience, and only a short drive from the monotony of I75. No comparison between the creaking wood floors and ancient beaded ceilings to some chrome and plastic fast food emporium. Excellent service.
