I've never had a disappointing meal at this joint! The owner really knows how to serve up some fresh grub, with delicious chicken and steak that'll leave you wanting more. Sure, the dí©cor could use a facelift, but this cozy Mom and Pop spot has a lot of heart and history, so swing by and say hi to Luke for me.

Think of your favorite Mexican restaurant and just go there instead. The dishes are about 5.00 more per plate than what you would expect and are average at best. The decor is horrible and hasn't been updated since the 80's. With the large number of Mexican restaurants avaible in the area, it should be easy for the owner to learn how to prepare better quality food. I did not like the place at all!

I used to go there all of the time, then the father died. Since then the prices have doubled and the portions have been halved. Service is not what it used to be, and there has been no new decor in years. Overall I fealt like I was being robbed in a very poor neighborhood!

I used to go here all the time when I was younger and got a lot for a good price. I went there about 2 months ago and shared an entrée with my boyfriend. It was good but when we got the bill, we realized that we were charged for the chips. They didn't tell us that if we shared then we would have to pay for the chips. Not only was I upset about paying for them, but they were also stuck together and soggy. Another thing is that the service was low quality. We had to wait until the food came to get refills. I will eventually go back but not for a long time. And next time I will tell them not to even give me chips.

I used to come to this restaurant when I was a child, with my parents. Loved it because we did not have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from , but thought the food and service was great.... 20 years ago... Went on this past Saturday evening April 16, 2011. The margarita came out in a bottle and a glass (pour it yourself) for $3.50 (seriously?!?!) The chicken that I ordered was burnt on one side and chewy on the other. My husband ordered a cheese crisp and you could have drenched two or three paper towels with the grease running off that thing. We will not be going back. As children we both loved this place, but over the years the atmosphere is that of a dump and the service is that given by a teen with no idea what customer service is about. Very disappointed.

This restaurant is one of the best for Mexican American food, in this part of the Country. I lived in Austin Texas where my daddy is from and all there Mexican restaurants are good. There is a difference in Mexican Food and American Mexican food. Mexican Food is very bland, as in tasteless. These Mexicans are from Mexico and the food there is made a lot different than American Mexican food.

This restraunt is really spectacular. Everything about it was top notch. Great service and the atmosphere is really nice
