What a delightful place! The minute you walk through the door, you are transported "back in time" to the days where ladies (and gentlemen) enjoyed sitting down to enjoy a meal together or just visiting over a cup of hot tea. The food is delicious - just like Grandma used to make. Each room is decorated in its own unique way - with teapots, cups and saucers, and various patterns of china. There are hundreds of hats to choose from......pick your favorite for the full "Southern tea party" experience. Don't leave until you've visited the gift shop upstairs. Whether it be a tea towel, cookbook, demitasse spoon or ornament - take a bit of Miss Mable's home with you.
Sadly, it seems that tearooms are becoming a thing of the past. Unfortunately, Miss Mable's will close its doors on June 27, 2009. Be sure to make your reservation today so you can experience the delight of true Southern hospitality before it is too late.
