I grew up in Corinth, Mississippi. I had always heard of Risners' Steakhouse while growing up, but I had never eaten there until 20 May 2010. Now I wish I never had. The fillet mignon was tough and overcooked, the bacon it was wrapped in was old and smelled terrible, and the quail was old and inedible. In their defense, the salad, baked potato, and toast was good, and the wait staff was very pleasant. When told of the condition of the meal while paying for the bill, the wait staff had no comment, not even an apology. I will never eat there again, unless it comes under new management.
