I like this place. The food is authentic tasting and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. I really enjoy going there to either eat in or take home. They have live music as well.

Authentic Mexican food with very large portions. It is nice to see a "real" Mexican establishment in Tennessee serving great food. This food is on par with Southern California Mexican food and South Texas Mexican food. If you're from either place I imagine you will be eating at Taco Express REALLY soon.
Personally, I have never eaten in the establishment due to a takeout/drive-thru type window. Before this window a customer had to enter and place their order to go. The place is clean and the kitchen is visible from any table.
