This is the best restaurant in Oak Ridge. I bet they are always slammed for business. The pasta tastes FRESH, the breadsticks are to DIE FOR, the seasonings are always balanced and fragrant. You can try the other places...if you want dead chicken with overly expensive vegetables...but VENICE PIZZA & GRILL will serve you succulent and tasty chicken with the right compliments and NOT overly priced like one of the other places.

I have eaten at Venice many times. The food has ALWAYS been great with generous portions. I dont understand any of the bad reviews. Try it, u'll like it. 😍

I wish I could give this no stars. Bad service, incorrect order, restaurant filthy, and food wasn't even good. Hardly even mediocre. I ordered for delivery and after 45 minutes my food was delivered but was made wrong. I had to drive over there and I was offered no apology. The place was empty the whole time I was there but it was absolutely filthy. The host wasn't doing anything other than messing with her phone so she could have been cleaning. It looked like days of filth. When I finally got back home with my order, it was dry, bland, and I was disgusted by what I had seen at the restaurant. How frustrating.

Yesterday I ordered a veggie pizza with no cheese, it came with cheese. All three pizzas ordered were overcooked, eggplant was burnt. No artichoke hearts were found on the veggie, the ricotta was invisible. Never again.

We came here with our team the night before a race at the Oak Ridge rowing facilities. The price was fantastic, and they were easily able to accomodate 30 athletes and their orders with no problem. Their service was prompt and accurate, the food was delicious, and everyone went out and won medals the next day. It's probably not a great place for a romantic date, but if you want takeaway or need to feed a huge group of people, I don't think there's a better choice.

Sat. 3/23/13 I ordered a double pepperoni calzone. When I picked it up it felt lighter than I thought it would. When I got home I cut it in half, intending to save some for the next day. I was surprised to see no pepperoni. I pulled back the top on both pieces and saw only melted cheese and nine pieces of pepperoni. I called and asked to speak to the manager and his response was, "What do you want me to do?"

I noticed when I walked inside to pick up the calzone that there was only one table of people there. The girl at the counter said that she had been there since 10 AM and she had only 4-5 tables and this was at 8 PM.

Now I know why. It is such a shame because it used to be so good.

Update to a previous review. The management finally refunded my credit card. I have updated my stars accordingly. Food's pretty good, service okay. Delivery is hit or miss with the drivers.

We ordered pizza to be delivered. After an hour of waiting we called back and cancelled the order. The delivery guy showed up anyway. We sent him away. The charge for the pizza showed up on our credit card anyway. I've called three times now. The owners say, "let me check it out and I'll get back to you." We've never heard from them. They seem to be liars and unscrupulous businessmen. Please don't patronize this restaurant.

Been there twice and also had them deliver food when my car was down. All three times it has really been good. The food was delicious. The delivered meal was more than I could eat and was very hot when I got it. It was really good and the price was reasonable.

I read other reviews on this page and thought Venice Pizza Subs would make a great gyro. Today I order the gyro and ate it at the restaurant. The sandwich was good, but would not compare to the gyros offered at little shops in New York. The sandwich size was the same length as the palm of my hand plus fingers (about 5"). It contained four strips of meat. The sandwich cost $7.12. For that price I could have purchased a complete dinner at other restaurants in town, e.g., chicken fajitas at El Contararo or buffet lunch at Ryan's. In any event, I was so hungry after each the gyro at Venice Pizza that I drove over to Billy's Time Out Deli and ordered one there. The gyros at Billy's were the same size at Venice Pizza, except Billy's gives you two of them for $6.42. As I left Venice Pizza, I realized why I have never heard of this place before. It's prices are expensive for the quantity of food provided, so I doubt it will stay in business.

Best pizza I have ever had. I would recommend this place to anybody. The gyros are the bomb, like authentic middle-eastern style gyros pitas.

Great food!! I have tried alot from their menu and it's all great. If someone really considers their hamburgers "small", wow. Great food and people at Venice!

it sucks half of them dont know what a double venis burger with cheese is. plus their price is jacked up and there burgers are SMALL!!!
